SELF-ADVOCATES
Be inspired by personal stories from self-advocates who are or want to be employed in the open labour market. This is part of FSNE’s commitment to individuals with a developmental disability and their families to increase knowledge of employment based on best practices.
JEREMY
Jeremy is always keeping busy. He walks us through his daily mornings, the work he does around his friend’s farm, and his responsibilities at the community theatre.Â
LUCA
Luca discusses three keys aspects job seekers need to take into account when looking for a job: employment retention, networking, and motivation.
JULIAN
In 2020 we are all dealing with the same issue, and that’s COVID-19. Julian made these video to share how he dealt with the quarantine and how he prepared to go back to work at the Scotiabank arena.

Cory has been working since he was 16 years old. From odd jobs to fulltime work with Walmart, Cory is a contributing member of the community.

At Goodlife Fitness, Marc is given many responsibilities and can do all his tasks independently and efficiently. He loves his job and is committed to it in the long run.

Scott has been working at Sodexo as a kitchen help. His employment is significant in his life, just like work and education are to his siblings.
