Peer-to-peer Knowledge Transfer: Framing the Pathway for Employment During the School Years

Welcome to the Family Support Network for Employment’s online course: “Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Transfer: Framing the Pathway for Employment During the School Years”.

This course is designed to guide families with school-age children with an intellectual disability on an employment path from the early school years to after graduation, based upon the similar lived experiences of other families.

FSNE believes that…

When supported by trained peers, families will acquire the knowledge and advocacy skills needed to lead a path to employment for their family member.

Empowered families will become critical thinkers around the possibilities of employment.

More families asking for resources in critical and collaborative ways will increase the demand for employment opportunities for their family members and beyond.

We hope this course inspires you and your family on this journey.
